Book Helicopter tour 30 minutes
New York’s most comprehensive helicopter tour
- This 30-minute helicopter flight departs from Downtown Manhattan Heliport at the southern tip of Manhattan. It’s the longest helicopter tour in New York — no longer duration exists.
- The helicopter takes off near the Brooklyn Bridge and heads toward Governors Island and the Statue of Liberty. Next, you’ll pass the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, which guards the entrance to New York Harbor and connects Brooklyn to Staten Island. You’ll fly over the beaches of Coney Island and Rockaway Beach along the Atlantic Ocean. The helicopter turns around at Coney Island and crosses the entire New York Bay, offering sweeping views of Manhattan’s skyline.
- You’ll then follow the Hudson River northward to the George Washington Bridge. This route takes you over the full length of Manhattan, from the Financial District through Midtown, passing Greenwich Village, SoHo, the Meatpacking District, Chelsea, Hudson Yards, Hell’s Kitchen, the Theater District, Central Park, and the Upper West Side. You’ll have perfect views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, and Hudson Yards’ towers, including The Edge observation deck.
- The helicopter crosses the George Washington Bridge, then turns around near the Bronx and the New York Yankees stadium. You’ll head back down the Hudson toward the Financial District. The view of One World Trade Center is a highlight of the flight, and the landing approach toward the buildings is spectacular.
- This route gives you plenty of time to see everything. If you love photography, you’ll have ample opportunity to capture stunning shots. The 30-minute helicopter tour is the most complete tour available.
Book your 30-minute helicopter flight in New York
- 30-minute flights run year-round, Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Visit the 30-minute helicopter tour booking page. Book early — demand is high since tourist helicopter tours are prohibited on Sundays, and the city has reduced the annual number of flights allowed.
- You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as payment is processed on our site. Here’s the CNEWYORK advantage: you won’t need to call the helicopter company to complete the required confirmation — we handle it for you. You’ll receive your confirmation by email with an exchange voucher attached to present at the heliport. Nothing else to do.
- NEW: as of March 2026, the listed price includes the mandatory $40 per person heliport fee. The price you pay on CNEWYORK is all-inclusive — heliport fees included. No additional charges.
- All passengers must present a valid passport to board. It must be the original document, not a photocopy or a photo on your phone. It’s the same as flying on an airplane: without a passport, you cannot board.
Cancellation policy
- You can cancel your flight by contacting us through the contact form at least 24 hours before your flight date at midnight. If your flight is scheduled for June 3, you have until June 1 at 11:59 pm to submit your cancellation request.
- You’ll be refunded minus a €10 processing fee and any bank charges. Note that refunds are free if the helicopter company cancels due to weather or other reasons.
