Transfers from LaGuardia Airport

Located 13 km east of Manhattan in Queens, LaGuardia Airport handles mostly domestic flights. You'll find it bustling with business travelers.

Transfers from LaGuardia Airport

Taxi from LaGuardia

  • The simplest and most convenient option. Make sure you take an official taxi. Wait your turn in the taxi line and don’t be persuaded by unofficial drivers offering rides.
  • Expect to pay $22–$30 for a ride from LaGuardia to Manhattan, plus tolls and tip (15%).

Bus

The cheapest option, but the most complicated. The M60 bus serves Manhattan but stops at 125th Street, quite far uptown. You’ll also need to fit your luggage on the bus, which can be tricky.

Subway

  • This option is affordable but not the most convenient.
  • Take the Q33 bus to Roosevelt Avenue to reach the subway network. From there, take the E or F train toward Manhattan. It’s a bit of a hassle.

Private Car from LaGuardia

  • Your most comfortable option. A private driver takes you directly to your destination in a car reserved just for you.
  • To make your arrival easier, you can book your transfer in advance from LaGuardia to your Manhattan hotel. You can also book your return transfer from your hotel back to the airport.
