Think you've seen everything in New York? Think again. A brand-new attraction just opened its doors, and it's unlike anything you've experienced before. Will you dare to try it?

The new attraction driving tourists crazy in New York!

What’s New at the Top of the Empire State Building

  • New York’s observatories are in fierce competition to offer the most thrilling experience. After Summit One Vanderbilt opened in 2021, The Edge launched City Climb in January 2023, and Top of the Rock debuted The Beam in December 2023—an articulated beam that lifts visitors above the building—the Empire State Building is now striking back with its own headline-grabbing attraction.
  • New York’s oldest observatory has just opened a new attraction called “Empire Jump.” It’s a thrilling bungee jump from a platform at the north end of the 86th-floor terrace, 320 m (1,050 ft) above the street.
  • The jump reaches up to 240 m (787 ft). This makes the Empire State Building home to the highest bungee jump from a building, surpassing Macao Tower in China at 231 m (758 ft). The overall record belongs to Royal Gorge Bridge in Arkansas, at 321 m (1,053 ft).

How to Bungee Jump at the Empire State Building

  • Because this is an extreme activity, the Empire State Building requires participants to register at least 15 days in advance through an authorized representative in your country. The representative verifies that you’re fit to jump. Good news: CNEWYORK is the authorized representative for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Canada.
  • To book your jump, email us through our contact form with your preferred date and number of participants. Include any relevant information. We’ll send you a questionnaire to complete and have signed by your doctor, confirming you’re in good cardiac health.
  • Once approved, we’ll confirm your reservation and hold your time slot. On the day, you’ll get fast-track access to the 86th-floor terrace. Empire State Building staff will brief you on safety procedures with video support and make sure you’re properly equipped. Then it’s time to head to the platform and wait for the “Go”!
