What You Need to Know About the Liberty Cruise

  • The Liberty Cruise is a 1-hour cruise combining the Hudson River and New York Bay. The boat departs from Pier 83, at the far west end of 42nd Street on the Hudson River.
  • The cruise heads down the Hudson, giving you sweeping views of Midtown, the Empire State Building, and Lower Manhattan, including One World Trade Center. You’ll then sail toward Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, with a slow pass by Miss Liberty so everyone can take photos. The boat returns to Pier 83 by heading back up the Hudson, offering you the iconic Manhattan skyline view.
  • An English-speaking guide provides live commentary on the main landmarks and sites you pass. An audioguide is available to help you learn about New York’s history and discover interesting stories about the city.

Book Your Liberty Cruise

  • Depending on the season, there are 2 to 3 departures daily. Book your tickets as early as possible through the Liberty Cruise booking system.
  • Once payment is complete, you’ll receive your confirmation immediately with an exchange voucher to print and present at the company’s ticket booth on Pier 83. You can also simply show the voucher on your smartphone. We receive a copy of your confirmation as well—if there’s any issue with your email or you have questions, feel free to contact us.
  • On the day of your cruise, arrive at least 45 minutes before departure to present your voucher and board. During peak summer season, allow one hour.
