- Central Park is Manhattan’s largest park, stretching 4 km (2.5 mi) long and 800 m (2,625 ft) wide. You won’t cover it all on foot. Renting a bike is an easy, enjoyable, and affordable way to see more of the park.
- You can follow 75 km (47 mi) of bike paths throughout the park. You’re free to lock your bike and explore on foot whenever you like. You can also walk your bike through areas where cycling isn’t allowed.
- If you rent for the full day, you can venture beyond Central Park and explore the Hudson River waterfront along the scenic bike path that runs from Riverside Park down to the Financial District.

- To guarantee a bike on your chosen day, book your rental in advance using our Central Park bike rental reservation system. Choose from three rental periods: 2 hours, 4 hours, or a full day. You can select either a standard bike or an electric bike.
- Electric bikes are available only for riders 16 years old and older.
- After payment, you’ll receive a voucher confirming your reservation. Print it or save it to your phone. The voucher shows the shop address, located just south of Central Park in the Midtown neighborhood. On the day of your rental, present your voucher and you’re ready to go.
- Traveling with children? You can add a child seat or a bike trailer for an additional fee paid on-site. Note that child equipment is available only for individual rentals, not for group tours with a guide.
- Your rental includes the bike, a helmet, a lock, and a detailed Central Park map showing all bike paths. Bikes also come with a basket, so you don’t have to carry your bag on your back.

Do I need to reserve a specific time to pick up my bike?
No, you don't need to reserve a time slot in advance. On the day of your rental, just show up at the address on your voucher. Bikes will be available for you.
Is there a deposit required for the bikes?
No deposit. You simply need to leave a valid ID in the name of one of the participants as a guarantee to ensure the bike is returned.
Can I rent a child seat with my bike?
Yes! If your child is too young to ride, you can rent a child seat that attaches to your bike. This add-on costs $12, payable on-site.
