UPDATE – MAY 2019: The Nutella Bar has permanently closed and been replaced by the Nutella Café. For more information, visit the Nutella Café page.

New York has an incredible selection of bars and rooftops, as you’ll discover in our guide to bars in New York. But one spot stands out: the Nutella Bar.
Opened in August 2015, this cozy destination sits at 200 5th Avenue, steps from Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building. As the name suggests, it’s entirely devoted to the famous Italian chocolate spread. A paradise for chocolate lovers.

Everything here features Nutella—from bread and brioche to waffles and crêpes. The décor sets the mood perfectly, with a photo of a giant Nutella jar hanging above the kitchen.
Along both walls, massive displays overflow with chocolate jars in every size and shape.
The Nutella Bar is open daily, including Sundays, from 10 am to 11 pm. If you’re tempted to resist the Nutella Bar’s call, consider Oscar Wilde’s words: “The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.”
