What is HERO in New York?
- HERO is an exhibition space located in the heart of Rockefeller Center in New York, at the level of the ice rink. But these aren’t typical museum exhibitions. HERO features only immersive exhibitions with sound and light that transport you into the scene. The concept draws inspiration from Paris’s Atelier des Lumières, combined with artistic and interactive installations in each room.
- Tip: exhibitions change regularly to reflect the seasons. Through November 7, 2024, HERO celebrates Halloween in New York with a special exhibition about Sleepy Hollow and the legend of the Headless Horseman. Expect to be spooked! Pumpkins fill the space while leaves glow in autumn colors.
- Starting November 7, 2024, HERO presents “BLOOM, The Secret Wonders of New York’s Forgotten Eden”. This original exhibition shows what the Rockefeller Center area looked like before human development. You’ll walk through a lush garden, far from skyscrapers, pavement, and the noise of Manhattan. A fresh perspective on New York.
