The Story of The Outsiders
- The Outsiders takes you to the small town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the late 1960s. The story follows the clashes between two rival gangs. On one side, the “Greasers,” working-class youth. On the other, the “Socs,” from the middle class.
- You’ll meet Ponyboy Curtis, a 14-year-old from a modest background. One day, he has a bad encounter and is attacked by several Socs members, who leave him unconscious on the ground. Rescued by Greasers passing by, Ponyboy becomes a member of the Greasers himself.
- The Outsiders won 4 Tony Awards in 2024: Best Musical, Best Direction, Best Lighting, and Best Sound. Lead actor Brody Grant also won Best Actor at the 2024 Theatre World Awards.
