Booking Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off Bus
Official PartnerWhat are Big Bus hop-on hop-off tours?
- Hop-on hop-off buses are private buses that run daily tours designed for visitors. They connect New York’s major landmarks on a single route, letting you see the city’s highlights. Unlike regular city buses, these tours work on a simple principle: you board the bus at any stop and get off whenever you like to explore. When you’re ready to move on, just catch the next bus to continue your route.
- Another key difference: these are double-decker buses, like those in London. On warm, sunny days, you can enjoy sweeping views of the city from the open-air upper deck. It’s a unique way to see New York.
- In New York, Big Bus operates two routes: the red line (Downtown) and the blue line (Uptown). The red line is the main route, covering southern Manhattan down to the Financial District. It has 12 stops.
- The blue line (Uptown) takes you through Midtown and the Upper East Side, running along Fifth Avenue. This route has 7 stops.
