Discover street art in Little Italy, New York
If you love murals and graffiti, make your way to Little Italy. This neighborhood is gradually transforming into a true open-air street art gallery.

Street Art History in Little Italy
- When you think of Little Italy, pizzerias and traditional Italian groceries usually come to mind. Yet this neighborhood, increasingly bordered by Chinatown, holds a real surprise for street art lovers. Since 2012, an artistic initiative called “The LISA Project” has aimed to make Little Italy Manhattan‘s first neighborhood dedicated to street art.
- The project has made real progress since then. While Bushwick, in Brooklyn, remains New York’s street art capital, Little Italy has firmly established itself as the neighborhood on the rise.
- You’ll find numerous murals as you walk through the neighborhood’s streets, especially along Mulberry Street.
What Street Art Works Can You Find in Little Italy?
