Tested: An American Football Match at New York Giants
David Pierrat lived his dream! Last Sunday, this American football fan attended the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys match at MetLife Stadium.

The New York Giants, New York’s legendary team
- David Pierrat is not just a fan of our Facebook page: he’s also a big American football enthusiast. So when he visited New York, he made the most of it by catching a New York Giants game last Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Giants, four-time Super Bowl champions (1986, 1990, 2007, and 2011), faced a worthy opponent: the Dallas Cowboys, who have five Super Bowl titles to their name.
- “I took a bus from New York to MetLife Stadium. It costs $12 for a round trip,” David explains. He recommends arriving early to soak in the pre-game atmosphere. “The tailgate before the game is fantastic: fans from both teams eat and drink together, with barbecue,” he says.
Inside the stadium
- Then came the moment to step inside MetLife Stadium. “Everything inside the stadium is designed with the fan in mind. Whether it’s seating, food, drinks, souvenirs, or jerseys—it’s all there.”
- The game itself lived up to expectations with a tight contest. “It was a fantastic match with plenty of suspense, and New York won 27-20.” The Giants’ stadium erupted. “I cried with joy because I love it so much and the organization is fantastic,” David says.
- One last tip from David if you plan to attend a game: “Leave quickly after the match to catch the bus back, because we took a while and there are only 5 or 6 buses running back and forth. We ended up waiting 50 minutes.”
