How does the helicopter transfer from New York to JFK Airport work?

• A helicopter transfer is by far the fastest way to reach New York’s JFK Airport. You depart from the West 30th Street heliport and reach JFK in just 5 minutes of flight time. Say goodbye to subway delays and traffic jams.
• Note: this transfer is only available on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 7:40 pm. These days and times follow helicopter flight regulations in New York.
• You’ll need to book your transfer in advance and arrive at the heliport on the Hudson River at West 30th Street, in the Hudson Yards neighborhood. Arrive at the heliport at least 15 minutes before your transfer for check-in. While you wait, complimentary drinks and snacks are served in a private lounge.
• At your scheduled time, you’ll board a 6-seat helicopter heading to JFK Airport. During the flight, you’ll see the Empire State Building, the towers of the Financial District, New York Harbor with the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn neighborhood. It’s a spectacular final view of New York before you go. Once at JFK, a shuttle will drop you at your terminal.
• Important: you can bring one carry-on bag not exceeding 55.8 x 40.6 x 20.3 cm (22 x 16 x 8 inches) and one small personal item such as a purse or laptop. The total weight of your carry-on and personal item cannot exceed 11.3 kg (25 lbs). If you’re traveling with larger suitcases, contact the company in advance. They’ll arrange ground transportation for your baggage. There’s an additional charge of $135 per bag.

How to book your helicopter transfer in New York

• Advance booking is required for helicopter transfers. Go to the helicopter airport transfer booking page. Select your transfer date and departure time.
• The price includes: the helicopter flight between Manhattan and New York-JFK Airport, heliport fees and taxes, transport of one carry-on bag and one personal item under 11.3 kg (25 lbs), and drinks and snacks in the lounge.
• Please note that this transfer is not accessible to wheelchair users. However, service dogs are welcome.

Cancellation policy

• Need to cancel your New York trip? You can request cancellation of your helicopter transfer by contacting us through the contact form. Your request must reach us at least 48 hours before your flight date. The cancellation will be processed with a $10 cancellation fee and any bank charges deducted from your refund.
• If the helicopter flight is canceled due to weather or other reasons, the company will contact you to arrange a ground transfer by private vehicle.
