What to know about the NFL Experience

• Opened in December 2017, the NFL Experience was the first museum dedicated to American football in the United States.
• The NFL created the museum in partnership with Cirque du Soleil. The Canadian entertainment company brought its expertise in spectacle design to make the museum an immersive “experience” above all.
• The NFL Experience sits on Times Square, at the corner of 7th Avenue and 47th Street. The museum spans 4 floors and covers nearly 4,000 m² (43,000 sq ft).

What to see at the NFL Experience

• True to its name, this museum is an interactive and immersive experience that puts you in the shoes of an American football player—from training all the way through to the Super Bowl, the championship’s ultimate game.
• In the Suit Up workshop, you can dress yourself virtually in your favorite team’s colors and take a selfie. You can also test your skills with the QB Challenge, a virtual training field for quarterbacks, the star players who throw the ball.
• Next, step onto the field—actually a dynamic movie theater. The film The Stadium immerses you in a live game with 4D effects for extra thrills. Expect some serious shaking!
• The museum also displays photos and memorabilia, including the Super Bowl trophy won by the New England Patriots, studded with 283 glittering diamonds. A photo opportunity you won’t want to miss.
