Discover the World Trade Center Marina in New York

Where is the World Trade Center marina?

  • New York is a port—and it’s easy to forget. Massive cruise ships regularly dock here, including the famous Queen Mary 2 from the British company Cunard. New York has marinas too, just like the French Riviera. The most appealing and surprising is the World Trade Center marina, a hidden gem at the southern tip of Manhattan in the heart of the Financial District.
  • Finding the marina is straightforward. After you’ve visited the memorial and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, One World Trade Center, and Wall Street, head toward the Hudson River waterfront.
  • From the base of One World Trade Center, walk up Vesey Street toward the Hudson. Along the way, you’ll pass the Irish Hunger Memorial. Walk a few steps south and you’ll reach the marina, known as North Cove Yacht Harbour.

What can you see at the World Trade Center marina?

  • The World Trade Center marina has real character. You might feel like you’re on the French Riviera: the marina is home to several billionaires’ yachts flying flags from the Bahamas or Bermuda.
  • The World Trade Center marina is also a peaceful spot for lunch or a drink. At midday, you’ll see plenty of local business professionals. You’ll also have sweeping views of the World Trade Center towers, with One World Trade Center dominating the skyline.
  • Walking along the water, you can spot the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge in the distance. Directly across, you’ll see the towers of New Jersey’s skyline rising up as well.
