The Story of The Great Gatsby

• The musical faithfully follows Scott Fitzgerald’s novel. The story is told from the perspective of Nick Carraway, a young man from the Midwest who settles in New York as a stockbroker. Nick moves into a residential neighborhood on Long Island, not far from East Egg, a trendy area in the 1920s. He then meets his neighbor, Jay Gatsby, a millionaire who is both powerful and eccentric but also very mysterious… Nick is fascinated by the character!
• Gatsby has made a name for himself in New York for his lavish parties at his mansion. But while the man has succeeded professionally, his love life is far less brilliant. Gatsby tries in vain to win back Daisy Buchanan, an old flame… who happens to be a distant cousin of Nick’s.
• The Great Gatsby made its Broadway debut in March 2024. A highly anticipated show in New York! The production was indeed a huge success at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey. It therefore earned the right to be displayed on Broadway. The same actors will hold the leading roles. Jeremy Jordan plays Jay Gatsby while Eva Noblezada plays Daisy Buchanan. The show runs 2 hours and 30 minutes with a 15-minute intermission.
