- The musical & Juliet draws inspiration from the famous love story Romeo and Juliet, a masterpiece by British writer William Shakespeare. The show shakes up the script and imagines what would have happened if Juliet hadn’t ended her life. & Juliet retells the Romeo and Juliet story but invents a happy ending!
- The show is also filled with humor, far from Shakespeare’s tragedy. The encounter between Romeo and Juliet is the backdrop for stunning scenes set to pop music. You’ll hear covers on stage including “Baby One More Time,” one of the hits by American singer Britney Spears, as well as “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake and “Larger Than Life” by the Backstreet Boys. Plus “That’s The Way It Is” by Celine Dion.
