What You Need to Know About Bike and Rowboat Rentals in Central Park
- Explore all of Central Park without spending hours on foot. This unique combination lets you rent a bike for a full day and enjoy one hour of rowboat time on Central Park Lake, with stunning views of New York’s skyline.
- Everything is included. Your bike rental comes with a Central Park map, a helmet, a basket attached to the frame, and a lock so you can secure your bike during photo stops. If you want, you can also take your bike outside the park and ride along the Hudson River Greenway.
- For rowboat rentals, head to Loeb Boathouse, the rowboat launch point in the southern part of Central Park (see the map below). The boat is yours and your group alone. Ready to row? 🙂
How to Book Your Combined Rental in Central Park
- The combined offer is not currently available. Once you book, you can download or print your voucher. It will show the exact address of the bike rental shop on 56th Street, a few blocks south of Central Park in Midtown. The bike rental staff will give you the voucher for your rowboat rental.
- Bike rentals run from 9 am to 5 pm in April and 9 am to 7 pm from May through September. Rowboats are open from 10 am until sunset.
- If you need to cancel your New York trip, you can cancel these rentals by following the instructions on your voucher.
