The High Line in New York City Re-Opens Its Access On July 16

The High Line had closed in New York City since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. The friends of the High Line came up with a safe way to enjoy the High Line again.

A new way to discover New York City this summer

  • The good news of the week in New York City: The High Line will issue free timed tickets on July 9 for visits between July 16 and July 26 2020. Another batch will be issued on August 3 for a period ranging from August 10 to August 23 2020.
  • If you do not have time to book your tickets online , don’t worry, tickets will be available on site on a first come first served basis. This former elevated freight railroad line will charm you more than ever as only New Yorkers will be there. Let’s rediscover your city this summer.

Only a portion will be accessible for the pedestrians

  • You will access the High Line at the level of Gansevoort street near the Whitney Museum. The path will end at the 23rd street level. Your path will be one way direction North. Remember safety measures are still in place, so you will have to wear your summer mask.
  • You will have to respect the 6-foot distance between persons from a different household. Remember if you feel sick stay home. To book your ticket : High Line website
